Your account
Account settings are where you change the things that belong to you as a person rather than to a workspace: your name, your password, two-factor authentication, and the account itself.
Open it from the account menu in the header, under Account settings.
For creating an account and signing in, see accounts and sign-in.
What is on the page
| Section | Lets you |
|---|---|
| Profile | See your email address and change your name |
| Change password | Set a new password |
| Two-factor authentication | Require a code from your phone as well as your password. See two-factor authentication |
| Delete account | Permanently delete your account |
Profile
Your email address is shown but cannot be changed here. Your name is what teammates see in a team's members table.
Changing your password
Enter your current password, then the new one twice. The two new entries must match before the button will work.
If you have forgotten your password, sign out and use the forgotten password link on the sign-in page instead.
Deleting your account
Delete my account permanently deletes your FormsUI account. It cannot be undone, and you confirm it with your password.
| What | What happens |
|---|---|
| Forms, submissions and credit in your personal workspace | Become permanently inaccessible |
| Anything in a team | Not affected |
If you own a team, consider transferring ownership first, so the team keeps an owner who can manage it.
If you also use CivicPort
On forms.civicport.io, FormsUI shares its sign-in with CivicPort. The changes
you make on this page apply to that whole account, not only to Forms, and
deleting it removes your access to the whole CivicPort platform. The page says
so when this applies to you.
