Support

When something is not working, or you are not sure how to do something, you can ask the FormsUI team directly from inside the product and get an answer back in the same place.

The help button

The round ? button in the bottom right corner of every signed-in page is the quickest way in. It offers three things:

ChoiceFor
Get helpA question you want answered. Opens a support request
Send feedbackA rating and a note. No reply is sent
Getting started guideReopens the tour

Get help

Get help takes a screenshot of the page you are on and attaches it, because a request is nearly always about what is on screen. You can retake it or remove it before sending.

Give the request a subject and say what is going wrong. The page you sent it from is added for you. Choose Send request and you land on the conversation on the Support page.

You get an answer on the Support page and by email.

Send feedback

Pick a rating, a category (general feedback, bug report, feature request or usability) and write your feedback. You can attach a screenshot of the page. Feedback goes to the team but does not start a conversation, so nothing comes back. Use Get help when you need an answer.

The Support page

Open Support in the header. It holds every conversation with the team, in both directions:

  • requests you started;
  • messages the team sent you, such as a welcome or a note that credit was added to your workspace.

Unread conversations are marked New. Opening one marks it read.

Starting a request

Choose New request, give it a subject, say what you need help with, and optionally attach an image. Choose Send request.

Replying

Open a conversation, write in the Reply box, optionally attach an image, and choose Send. A reply needs either some text or an image.

Attached images can be PNG, JPEG or WebP. Click one in a conversation to see it full size.

A conversation the team has closed is marked closed.

Support tickets

Some error messages, such as the refusal to import a PDF with too many pages, ask you to "create a support ticket". Those words are a link straight to the Support page, where a new request is a ticket.

The banner

When the team writes to you, a banner appears at the top of the page with the subject and a Read it button. It is there because a welcome or credit email is easy to miss. Opening the conversation, or dismissing the banner, marks it read.

The getting-started guide

A short tour of the product that opens itself the first time you sign in on a browser. Each step takes you to the page it is about and highlights the thing it is describing.
