Reminders
A sent document has one thing wrong with it: it sits there. A reminder asks the signature provider to email a signer their invitation again, so they open the same document at the same link. Nothing is uploaded, charged or signed twice, and reminders are free.
Sending the document again instead would cost a second signature and leave two live copies of the same lease.
Sending one
- On the documents list, press Remind on the document.
- The dialog lists every signer with where they stand. Everyone who is waiting and hasn't been reminded today is ticked for you.
- Untick anyone you don't want to chase, and send.
The confirmation names who was emailed. If one address couldn't be reached, it says which.
Before any email goes out, FormsUI checks with the signature provider again. The list is only as fresh as the last time it was opened, and "you still haven't signed" reaching someone who signed this morning is the one mistake worth avoiding. If everyone turns out to have signed, or the document was declined, nobody is emailed and the dialog says so.
Who is never reminded
Whether or not you tick them:

These signers still appear in the dialog, greyed out, so you can see where they stand.
Leases sent from CivicPort can't be reminded from here. They are CivicPort's to chase.
One reminder per signer per day
Each signer can be reminded once in any 24 hours. The limit belongs to the signer, not the document, so reminding one tenant today doesn't use up the other's turn.
Someone reminded recently stays on the dialog's list with the time it went out, such as "Reminded 10:42 today", because the question after pressing the button is "did that send".
When everyone who could be reminded already has been, the button reads Reminded today and is greyed out. Hover over it to see when the last reminder went and that you can remind again tomorrow.
Automatic reminders
The signature provider also sends a reminder of its own to anyone who hasn't signed after three days. Remind is for when you can't wait that long, or want to ask again.
